 Complete Postpartum Care I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any questions or concerns over the phone. Usually we performe 3 to 4 postpartum visits: - First postpartum visit is performed at your home within 24 to 48 hours after birth, and will include baby’s first metabolic screening.
- The second postpartum visit will be at your home, when baby is about 10 days old, and the second metabolic screening will be obtained at that time.
- Last postpartum visit will be back in the office, 6 weeks after birth, and a pap smear will be done for mom.
At every visit, baby will be weighed and examined. Breast feeding counseling and questions are welcome at any time throughout the pregnancy, and postpartum. I will take care of the paperwork for your baby’s birth certificate. For a free Consultation
